Please complete this brief registration to set up your ATO Careers account and kickstart your onboarding.

To help your Pre-engagement Integrity Check (PEIC) run smoothly, watch this quick VIDEO to learn what to expect, why these checks matter and which ID documents to gather for day one.

Step 1: Create and ATO Careers Account

Go to ATO Careers, and click Log In to register as a New User.
Enter your details using your email address as your username and select Save and Next to initiate your account set up.

💡 Hints & Tips
Existing Account? If you already have an ATO Careers account, you can skip straight to Step 2.
Email Verification: Check your inbox for "Confirm your email address" to set your password. You will then receive a "Your registration is underway" confirmation email.
Step 2: Log In & Verify

Click Login in the top right-hand corner of ATO Careers and complete the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) check to be automatically redirected to your My Applications page.

💡 Hints & Tips
Pro Tip: Select the email option for MFA rather than downloading an authenticator app for the easiest experience.
Auto-Redirect: Don't worry about searching for your portal—the system will route you directly to My Applications as soon as MFA is complete
Step 3: Complete Your Registration

Navigate to the Registration Page, select Begin, fill in your details, review your information, and click Submit Now.

💡 Hints & Tips
Finding the Start Button: You'll need to scroll all the way to the bottom of the Registration Page to click Begin.
Final Confirmation: You’ll know you’re done when you receive an email titled "Your registration has been received".

Once submitted, watch your inbox for an email from atocareers@nga.net.au
Subject line: Action required - Pre-engagement documentation – Probe
Action: Follow the prompt to log in and upload documents for your Pre-engagement Integrity Check (PEIC).
